Whenever I go to a sunflower field to take pictures, I am well prepared for the sun and possible deer ticks. This includes a hat, sunglasses, long sleeve shirt & pants, bottled water and sneakers. Yes, with all these equipments, I take pictures alright but I am drenched with sweats afterward😖 Nevertheless, painting sunflowers at my studio with this experience is priceless 😀

It was nice to see the grand historical Erechtheion temple on the north side of the Acropolis when I visited Athens in Greece. As expected, so many tourists swamped to experience the spectacular scenery.

August in San Francisco was somewhat chilly (?) Yeah, hard to believe… During our SF family vacation, we walked across the Golden Gate Bridge from Lands End to Sausalito. The sight of this famous landmark bridge partially covered by fog made a good impression on me.

Cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin was beautiful. People were taking pictures, walking, talking, laughing and having picnic on the grass. What a peaceful sight !!! Well, I joined the crowds, took a picture of, and painted cherry blossom with the Jefferson Memorial background 🙂

I never get tired of painting this tropical flower, bird of paradise. Whenever I visit California, I always take pictures of this attractive flower which can be spotted so easily in shopping center parking lots and streets. I started this painting with oil and finished with acrylic.
